in the cars universe, the earth itself developed exactly as it did in our universe
they have mountain ranges and deserts and oceans just like we do
they even have the exact same countries, states, and cities (in canon radiator springs is located along route 66 which connects los angeles to chicago)
literally the only difference is that, until the late 19th century, absolutely no life existed on earth
not until automobiles sprang into existence, apparently entirely of their own accord
does this not make anybody else really uneasy or
idk folks I was under the impression this was after the Uprising and humanity got wiped out due to cars developing sentience
